at Arbor Guest House Bed & Breakfast
We invite you to enjoy
a full breakfast in our garden setting with the roses and red
wood trees in their full glory. In the late afternoons you will
join us in the main house for refreshments around a warm and
cheery fire. The living room is appointed with antiques from
another time and age in the valley. This beautiful old colonial
was built by the Rumbel family in the summer of 1906. Rumbel
was a tradesman in the lath and plaster business in San Francisco.
After the 1906 earth-quake Rumbel moved his family to Napa to
be safe and close to a family member, who worked at the Sawyer
Tannery down by the Napa River. The Arbor House and its spacious
grounds became a B & B in 1983. In 1994 the Arbor House received
the prestigious Chamber of Commerce Award for the most improved
historical home in the Napa area. We invite you to enjoy a full
breakfast in our garden setting with the roses and red wood trees
in their full glory. In the late afternoons you will join us
in the main house for refreshments around a warm and cheery fire.
The living room is appointed with antiques from another time
and age in the valley. The Arbor House is owned and operated
by Gene and Andrea Chadwick. The on-sight Innkeeper is Shari
Jones. Shari grew up in the Napa Valley and has a vast amount
of knowledge of the valley and all of its old world charm. Come
join us on the quiet side of Napa, feel the old charm of our
house. We may not be the biggest, but you'll think we are!
