at Old World Inn

The historic Old World Inn was built in 1906 by local contractor E. W. Dought for his private town residence. This home is an eclectic combination of architectural styles detailed with wood shingles, wide shady porches, clinker brick, and leaded and beveled glass. The Inn is furnished throughout with painted antique furniture. The ten gues rooms have been individually decorated with coordinated linens and fabrics. Each has a private bathroom, the majority complete with Victorian claw foot tub and shower, most have fireplaces, and one has a private spa tub. Scandinavian colors dominate the parlor, along with it's fireplace and soft classical music, the perfect escape from the rushing world is created. Pampering at The Old World Inn goes well beyond our in-room amenities. A complimentary carafe of Napa Valley wine awaits you in your room as we extend our warmest welcome. Satisfy your urge for a mid-afternoon snack and join us for tea and cookies. The early evening wine and hors d'oeuvres feast might encourage you to post pone dinner, and a chocoholic's dream of a dessert buffet is set out before bedtime. After sampling these delectable creations, even the latest risers will be eager to get up for breakfast the followin morning; breakfast is served buffet-style at an intimate table for two. The Inn is air conditioned to make your stay more enjoyable in the summer months. Outside, there is a large custom Jacuzzi available to guests to soothe, refresh and revitalize.
